I have always wondered how to fit in the right amount of products into my handbag. If you carry small sling bags, it gets difficult to accomodate your entire makeup bag. On a day to day basis, carrying my entire makeup bag is a little inpractical unless it’s for a shoot.
What i carry in my handbag on a regular basis:
Blot / Compact Powder
This is a must as your skin gets oily and you need to touch it up constantly especially the T-zone.
Lipstick
If you don’t apply lipstick, you can carry your lipstick or Lip balm with you.
Concealer/Highlighter
I carry a highlighter with me as it can also act as a foundation. In fact, concealers are foundations with heavier coverage, isn’t it? This highlighter doesn’t occupy much space & does the job of highlighting the under eyes when needed.
Hairbrush
As my hair is naturally Wavy/curly, i do not usually comb it but whenever i straighten my hair, at times there’s a need to comb it. When i carry a smaller sling bag, i usually carry a foldable brush.
Compact mirror
If your compact powder already has a mirror, you don’t need this. I carry it because it gives a better view .
I add the following products to my bag when needed:
Blotting paper, Dry shampoo, Perfume, Eye drops & Eyeliner pencil
