When I was around 8 years old, my grandmother handed over a box & told me that it was a very valuable gift that I should preserve till eternity. Little did I know that it was a gorgeous gold necklace from her jewel box. My face gleamed with joy & I immediately tried it on with one of her deep red Kanchipuram sarees .
In India, we have a rooted value for gold jewellery that has been passed down from generation to generation. The sentimental value makes the jewellery even more alluring as it’s just not a gift but an emotion packed in a fancy little box. It takes you back in time & should be cherished for life.

We visited the TBZ (Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri) store in Mumbai with LoveGold to scout for designs that reminded us of the good old days. We came across some outstanding pieces that were reminiscent of the timeless designs that can be easily found in my grandma’s jewel box.
Beware! You might get lost in Gold Wonderland.
