Sometimes it is the only item you are carrying in your bag, sometimes it was your favourite obsession and now you are just too bored of it, sometimes it’s so expensive that you wish you could use it in more than just one way and other times it just doesn’t go with your skin anymore.
Here are three ways in which you can make the most out of your lipsticks be it any situation and (feel a less guilty about spending too much on it)
-
To Contour
Well, the red and pinks are pretty useless in this case but your neutral undertones might come in handy when you want to give your face a little structure. Just apply that warm brown shade in a ‘3’ shape on either side of your face and blend it using your fingers or a sponge.
-
To hide your tattoo / Conceal dark circles
If you happen to have tattoos you will be aware of the fact that how difficult it is to hide them when wearing makeup but use your favourite orange to red tone matte lipstick (depending on your skin colour) all over it and then with the help of a beauty sponge just pat your concealer all over it. And voila it’s all gone!
Side note: It can also be used to colour correct dark circles in the same way
-
As an eyeshadow
Your lipstick, especially the one with little glitter particles in it makes for an amazing all over the lid eyeshadow. Just apply it all over the lid and then bend it using a crease colour for a 2 min cut-crease look.
Now we have many reasons to invest in that lipstick. Don’t we?
