After Blisscovered & the Glossybox India scam , we now have the Vellvette box .
Is it worth the hype? Read through!
How does it work?
– You have to enter your contact details & fill a form in which you have to provide all the details about your preferences . (Age, skin type , favourite products etc)
– They will send a confirmation email. Your box will be shipped on 21st of each month.
Monthly subscription fee : Rs.399
How was my experience?
– I received a confirmation mail after i subscribed .
– I subscribed for the 3 month package.
– Now here’s the important part ,
The boxes are generally shipped on 21st / 22nd , i didn’t receive any update from them.
I had contacted them before 21st about the same & received no reply. I contacted them again after 22nd & was left with no response . Now , i sent an email / tweeted about it and inboxed them on facebook about the same on 27th / 28th and finally received a reply on facebook saying
“it looks like our last batch will ship by today latest – so we’re betting that you still will get it by the end of the year”
They could have informed me about the delay and i would have been fine with it . Instead , i had to contact them a number of times , just to know the status of my first box ?
Well , that’s not what i expected !
– When it comes to the products , i was quite happy with it. As i mentioned earlier , i was specific about the fact that i wanted makeup instead of skincare products.
– They called me on the 31st to know whether i will be available to receive the box on the same day.
Well , that was last minute!

CONCLUSION:
This box is definitely worth the price .Although i am not a big fan of perfume samples , i was quite happy with the two make-up samples in my vellvette box . The Victoria’s secret Fragrance mist smells like a dream. The lipstick is quite nice .
The only thing that ruined my experience was their Customer service .
