Temperatures are on the rise and there is very little, that we as individuals can do about it now, at this stage. All we can do is be prepared and take better care of ourselves, so that we can ride through this hot season, without too many fumbles.

Sweating is a big problem that only intensifies during the summer. If you too are plagued with sweat order and sweat stains on your clothes, then here are some summer hacks that will help you this season.

  • Roll on deodorant over deo sprays:

Roll-on antiperspirant deodorant works much better than deo sprays when it comes to sweating. The fragrance also lasts longer than sprays. Switch to a roll-on this summer. You can get a variety of options in roll-ons, some of which, like aloe, are actually good for your underarms and can reduce darkening too. You can also carry these in your bags and reapply whenever required.

  • Talcum powder to the rescue:

If you tend to sweat a lot and your clothes are all stained at the underarm area, the you should consider using a talcum powder everyday. The powder will soak up the sweat and also make you smell better. Talcum powders are an age old remedy that actually work, especially during summers.

  • Wear natural fabrics:

Avoid wearing synthetic fabrics like nylon and polyester during the summers. Consider investing in pure cotton pieces that a lose and not too form fitting. Tight clothes can also make you sweat more, as your skin does not get a chance to breath in them. You can find many fashionable options in lose fitting clothes too like, palazzo pants, kurtis, summer dresses and skirts and many more.

  • Avoid these foods:

You can prevent your body from sweating altogether by avoiding caffeine and spicy foods. If you’re out and about during a hot summer’s day, don’t drink hot coffee or binge on spicy chat or Chinese food for lunch. Opt for cooling drinks like buttermilk, lemonade or even plain milk.

  • Always be prepared:

If you’re heading to the office, a meeting or even a date, and you need to travel in the sun, be prepared by carrying an extra top or tshirt, so that you can change if sweat stains show up on your outfit. Just a little planning can go a long way.
