Often times, people ask larger women to avoid horizontal stripes mainly because it would make them look bigger than they’re. Like jeans, stripes have been a part of our wardrobe since time unknown. Wardrobe staples help us to not just simplify our mornings but also to make our outfits stand out as all it takes is a bright jacket and a statement necklace. I paired this striped dress from Benetton with a long cardigan. This is a really simple outfit yet it’s appropriate for both day & night time.
Behind the Scenes
I take my shoot locations very seriously. As you might have noticed, i barely click on the streets. An image is not just about the outfit or the pose but it’s also about the surroundings and the composition. Although this place was quite crowded, we decided to proceed with the shoot. Right before the shoot, a 3 yr old decided to take one of the flowers i had kept on the wall. His family members asked him to return the flower immediately. Once the shoot was over, i finally found the kid and gave him the flower. I have never seen someone so excited about receiving a flower (I would be that excited too though!) He snatched it from my hand and began playing with it. Now that definitely made my day!
