You may not be a cleanliness freak. But you intend to keep everything prearranged. Just that you are little lazy to toil around your beautiful belongings every now and then. You don’t realise when you end up making an inventive clutter soon after your massive effort to keep them stay in place.
When it comes to makeup products, you might be a little more sensitive to keep them like your little babies. But reasons are many why you fail at your super intentions. When you rush out of home for your friend’s wedding, you are hardly sure if you wore the right sandals. Deep sigh! even if they belonged to the same shoebox. Reaching the venue you realize your earrings are missing. So as you always lack time, it is not viable to put your untidy heaps of makeup back on its place before you leave your home. Its either your kind mommy who does it for your or it’s you who stuffs everything back until the vanity box is capable to shut off.
This is the reason why you end up breaking your favourite eye shadow!
Lets catch up on how shall we save our little makeup packups!
1. Clean them
While doing our makeup routine we hop from foundation to blush and eye shadow to gloss and everything in the between. We may be going professional with the brush strokes but it naturally happens that we end up using our fingers for that satisfying finishing look. We hardly wash our hands meanwhile. So our compact lid is coated with a lot of foundation and our lipstick case starts blushing! Clean your proud possessions periodically to make them look brand new throughout.
2. Sort them
Break up your makeup into little fragments. Gather your lip lustres (stick, gloss, liner) and eye enhancers (Kohl, Mascara, Shadow) at one place. Do the same with rest of the products as well whether its cheeks or brows. You may sort them with the colours as well.
3. Organize them
Use little buckets of your choice to place your sorted out artistic assets. If you don’t want to spend on new ones you may also recycle those mobile packaging card boxes as we have shown in the pictures. Use plain coloured holders to give your products a neat background. It’ll make it easy to chase your tiny eye liner brush the next time.
4. Put them back in the drawer
Avoid keeping your makeup in a pouch or any kind of soft storage items. Either you store them in plastic containers or hard card boxes and make a separate drawer near your dressing area. So you can sit in front of the mirror, open the drawer, do the needful and swiftly shut it back.
