Let’s be honest – with all the Facebook live streams, Instagram snaps, Snapchat & other social media apps, you can easily enjoy Fashion week at the comfort of your home. This is one of the reasons that made me realise how important technology is when it comes to Fashion. Technology helps us to reach any corner of the world in seconds. With the amount of self-exposure one can gain through technology, it’s vital to use it in the right way.
Last week, my life revolved around Lakme Fashion week. The Winter festive edition of LFW 16 was as grand as it was expected to be. From Tarun Tahiliani to Sabyasachi, the designer & the celebrity show stopper list was endless. During Fashion week, i am always on-the-go. Running around in heels from one show to another can be quite a task but it’s worth it. From catching up with fellow bloggers to attending some of my favourite shows, Lakme Fashion week is definitely one of my favourite times of the year.
As always, this year i noticed a number of people hooked to their phones at Fashion week. No doubt, i was one of them too. Clicking photos, tweeting, Snapchat uploads & more, a day at Fashion week is quite predictable. However, it was made easier using the Reliance LYF phone. Not just that, the LYF terrace which had a lightning fast Reliance JIO Wifi which was a blessing in disguise to all bloggers / press. From our instagram videos being published within a blink of an eye to Facebook live sessions, the LYF terrace was a perfect spot for all us.
Moving on, we had to take a number of photos / videos at Fashion week which required a decent camera that could quickly capture all of it. The LYF phone came in handy during such times. One of the highlights of this fashion week was that i could meet 3 of the lucky winners of a 1-day contest that i had conducted on my Snapchat. Lakme organized a mini-makeover for the lucky winners + they got a chance to attend one of the shows. It was so much fun meeting my followers in real life!
