Keep your face clean

This is the main key to avoid pimples. It’s important to wash your face atleast twice a day to remove dirt and excess oil from the skin. Keep your face clean and moisturized. Use a good facial cleanser and warm water to wash your face. Do not use harsh soaps on the face as it may cause more irritation on the inflamed skin.

Keep your hands away from the face

Touching your face often can cause pimples as it can spread bacteria which will cause more pimples which certainly you don’t want!

Apply ice

Applying ice soothes the skin.  It helps in removing the excess oil from the skin. All you have to do is , wrap an ice cube in a clean towel and apply it in the affected area.

Apply aloe Vera

Aloe Vera has anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-septic properties. It works wonders for the skin. It helps in healing the skin faster and it makes the skin clearer, softer and brighter.

Tea tree oil

Tea tree oil can be used on all skin types. You can use it directly by applying it on the affected area with a cotton swab, and leave it for 30 minutes. Tea tree oil from the body shop is highly recommended.

Watch your hair

To avoid pimples it is necessary to keep your hair oil free. Leaving oil overnight can cause pimples as when the hair falls on your skin, it makes it oily. So wash your face regularly and keep your hair away from the face.

Papaya

Yes, papaya can really cure pimples! All you have to do is mash up a small piece of papaya into  a thick paste and apply it on the affected area and leave it for 30 minutes. Then rinse and moisturize your skin!

Wash pillow covers and towel often

Dirty pillow covers and towels can cause bacterial growth which causes break out. So don’t forget to change your pillow covers, towels and bed sheets regularly. You can also clean up all your makeup brushes every month.

Eat healthy

Include lots of green veggies and fruits in your diet. Take a balance diet and avoid eating oily and junk food. Drink at least 8 glasses of water to keep your body hydrated and to flush out toxins from your body.
