For today’s post, i want to share a beautiful poem by Nikita Gill.

Behind the scenes
Before i execute a shoot, i create a mood board. From inspirations/references to the colour palettes, the mood board includes all the details. For this look, we had found a beautiful location near the mountains. However, due to last minute changes, we decided to change the location as the road that leads to the mountains was shut. Lesson of the day: Always have a backup plan!
Thankfully, the second location seemed to be better than the former one. The main reason being the colours around the lake seemed to be exactly how i envisioned it to be. In a city like Mumbai, it’s quite a task to find locations that are not occupied by buildings & shopping malls. My vision wouldn’t have to come to life without an amazing photographer Vishal, who patiently listened to every detail. It’s important to surround yourself with people who understand your ideas as it has a huge impact on your work.
