- Choose your most productive part of the day
Each to his own! All of us have our own most-productive part of the day when we are in the mood of getting things done. To help getting tasks done faster, choose the best part of the day (when you usually feel the most motivated) for yourself where you are in the right frame of mind and are least distracted to focus on work.
- Get done with your social media bit before starting work
To keep yourself away from social media, we suggest that you take ten minutes off before starting your work and check all your social media accounts. Once your time is up, put your phone on silent and start working on a time-line format. That way you’ll finish work faster and will be less distracted.
- Set smaller and easier goals that could be completed
Setting un-attainable goals will take you nowhere and will make you feel demotivated! Thus, it’s easier and feasible to set smaller goals based on hourly slots which would motivate you to work faster and will help you finish your entire task in the whole day.
- Take short breaks in between
Coffee breaks are a must! So, don’t be so hard on yourself. Time your hour slots and take short breaks in between to help you keep fresh and re-focus once you are back to the desk.
- Create rewards for yourself
Rewards are the best! Always remember to pamper yourself after you are done with your work. May it be a hot bubble bath to relax or an evening with friends to freshen up.
