You know when you visit a place & never want to leave? That’s what i felt when i visited the Al Fahidi district in Bastakiya which is a part of Old Dubai. After visiting the Dubai Museum, we decided to explore the neighbourhood which consisted of various little Shops, Cafés & Historic buildings. The older buildings / houses in this area were converted into Cafés & Art Galleries. One of the Cafés that we visited was called the “Arabian Tea house” which almost seemed like an oasis in Dubai’s hot & dry weather. Though we didn’t have to face as much of the Dubai heat as we traveled in the first week of December, it was still fairly warm.

The Arabian Tea house looked like a mix of a Greek & an Arabic Café. The cuisine was mostly traditional Arabic with a bit of western influence. Being a vegetarian, i had to get used to the limited options available in every restaurant. However, the calming environment & the Turkish iced tea did make up for it! You can watch my Dubai Vlogs for every little detail of the journey. It was quite fun filming & editing it.
