Hi everyone,

I know everyone’s curious about laser hair removal on the face and i couldn’t find as many blogs or sites which spoke about anyone’s experience.
Today,MY FRIEND[i can’t name her]is going to tell you all about her experience 🙂
I was planning to make a video, but i think, i would have to blur her face etc for it.But it’s better if i write it down because it will be clearer. It’s going to be like a question and answer session.I have typed and edited the information as i cannot put in the way she talks 😛 pretty obvious. So it might have a tinge of Me in it!HAHA!
Here it goes:
So,what made you do this?
I never knew about laser hair removal until i saw these ads.I was scared to approach the skin care specialists thinking they might burn my face.I never found such things safe. It’s very scary when you think about doing something on your face.I had to opt for this as i had a lot of hair on my face after puberty. On my upper lip, chin.and neck. It’s embarrassing.I did wax and do threading. But i had to do it frequently and my hair started growing thicker.I had to do it every four days.Waxing every four days can be painful and my skin started peeling off.I had to face a lot of problems.Hence i decided to do it.

How does this whole thing work?
I went to a skin specialist and she told me that i will need about 6 sessions .Six sittings to remove the hair.Every sitting would be for about 15-30minutes depending on the area.
She said that my hair will grow thinner and fall off after every sitting.I was not allowed to thread or wax during this period.I was told to use a ladies shaver and i used to shave my hair.
Before you perform this treatment, you need to grow out your hair completely, atleast for about a month. So in this process ,you can shave the area and go , if you have to go out of your house. It’s scary !You do feel like a man for a while.
Tell us about your first session?
I was pretty nervous before the first session. The assistants shaved the area and made sure there were no hair there. Then the doctor applied a gel like substance on the area and she made me wear these glasses to protect my eyes from the laser rays. Then it started. There was this huge machine and there was an extension to it,like a pipe. When the doc started,it was like a pin pricking my face and burning things.I could smell it.Something was burning. It did hurt.I have to accept. After the whole session, the doctor wiped the gel off and i kept they gave me ice and told me to wash my face.I would like to say that the first session was pretty weird.

What about the hair growth after the first session?
I started getting ingrowths after the first session for about 2 weeks and the doctor said , i have to shave it after 2 weeks.I did so.The growth was normal. Not a lot not less. But hair started falling out after sometime. In the end,my hair was thinner. Then when the first month was about to end and just before i had to go for the second session-My hair started growing again.
How many sessions have you done till now?
Four
How do you think it’s?
I think it’s amazing.I love it.My hair is way thinner now and if i have to go out , all i do is shave. My upper lip doesn’t have any hair but my neck and chin has a bit of hair.I am so glad i opted for it.
Will you recommend it to others?
Only if you really NEED it.If you’re a busy person who cannot hit the parlour regularly, you should go for it or a person who suffers from extreme hair growth.
