Striking the correct balance between style and comfort when you travel is of extreme importance. You don’t have to don fussy and fancy outfits to make a fashion statement at the airport. You can simply opt for cosy and trendy wear that makes you feel your best. From flowy shirts to ripped leggings, here are 5 of my favourite airport looks. Hope they give you inspiration for when you have to fly halfway across the world the next time around.

Flowy shirt with black jeggings

This one is my all-time favourite airport outfit. You can nail this carefree look by donning a pastel polka-dotted shirt over a pair of black jeggings. Invest in a bright coloured luggage bag to add a touch of fun to absolutely any look. Finish the ensemble with a pair of comfortable sandals. If you’re aiming for ‘less is more’, this look is perfect for you.

An oversized jacket

Perfect to help you turn heads wherever you go, an oversized jacket in simple print will not only get you second glances, but it will also keep you warm if the temperature in-flight drops too low for comfort. Throw this jacket over a basic top-and-jeans combination and you’ll be good to go.

Ripped leggings

If you want to keep it casual, wear a simple shirt over a pair of black ripped leggings. Carry a leather handbag which can be easily placed in the overhead compartment of the flight and which will accommodate all your important documents. This care-free look will not only make you look stylish, but it will also ensure you travel in ease.

Easy-breezy dress

If you’re looking for the perfect blend of comfort and style, a midi dress is what you can opt for the next time you’re selecting an outfit to wear at the airport. Team your dress with canvas shoes or flat sandals to complete the look.

Whoever said you have to sacrifice comfort for fashion didn’t know what they were talking about. If you have more styles to add to this list, we’d love to know!
