This is one of those rare times when i decide to skip a travel opportunity for an event. We were invited for the OPPO F3 PLUS  launch which was held in Hotel Andaz in Delhi. I decided to send Mohini from #TeamGST to Delhi to cover the event & this was her take on it:

ABOUT THE EVENT

Bloggers were welcomed and accommodated in their super comfortable rooms at Andaz, Delhi. After enjoying our splendid pool strolls and a short rest, i got ready for the event, the launch of OPPO F3 plus selfie phone, the #SelfieExpert. At the registration counter, i was welcomed with a gift package consisting of a selfie stick with hand held control, a mini tripod for phone and various attachable camera lenses; a perfect kit for any selfie lover! Bearing in mind the concept of the dual front camera, the theme was maintained throughout the event with two panels & two projections. The event started with celebrity photographer -Dabboo Ratnani who took us through the memory lanes of how the concept of selfies have evolved since the time first camera phones were launched.

The launch of OPPO F3 plus selfie phone, the #selfieexpert

The phone’s first look was displayed on screen with OPPO’s brand director Mr.Will Yang and brand manager Mr.Akash highlighting the phone’s various features. The phone was launched by OPPO’s brand new face, actress Deepika Padukone along with Mr.Sky Li, Global VP & President of OPPO India and celebrity photographer Dabboo Ratnani. Moving on, Blogger and media were escorted to the phone gallery where they could try various features of the phone.

Other than the dual front camera being the best feature of the phone, i was told that you can not only click selfies but also group selfies because of the wide angle lens. In addition to the camera, the phone boasts of numerous inbuilt filters, of which, the beauty filter for the front camera is very useful. It automatically adjusts to the background and lights while clicking selfies, highlighting your face which results in an absolutely Glamorous selfie. Well..the OPPO F3 plus definitely stole our hearts with the front camera feature.

Have you tried the new OPPO F3 plus out? If yes, What’s your take on it?
