Valentine’s day is all about spending time with your special someone, roses, chocolates & dinner dates. Although I adore the typical “V-day routine”, it can get quite repetitive. Well..that won’t be the case when you get to spend time with Unicorns on Valentine’s day. We decided to go to the well-known Unicorn Cafe that’s situated in the tiny lanes of Silom in Bangkok. Although Unicorn Cafe is quite popular amongst locals, the tourists are pouring in as well due to the coverage it’s received from various online Media outlets.

When I heard about this Cafe, i envisioned myself surrounded by pastel walls, cupcakes, girly music, bunnies & everything kawaii and that’s exactly what happened! I saw locals dressed in adorable onesies (which the Cafe provides) who spent hours clicking photos of themselves & of course the Instagram-worthy food.

The Menu consisted of Rainbow Coloured waffles, Unicorn blood (not literally!), Pastel coloured rolls & everything that someone with a sweet tooth would love to devour.

Getting a table here can be quite a task! You cannot reserve as this place is always packed with local teens & curious tourists.  Considering it was Valentine’s day, We waited for almost an hour to get a table. At times, they also requested customers to share tables as the cafe is quite tiny and it can only accommodate a few people. My advise to skip the queue? Visit the cafe on a weekday morning.

The Menu consisted of Rainbow Coloured waffles, Unicorn blood (not literally!), Pastel coloured rolls & everything that someone with a sweet tooth would love to devour. You could also order pastel cupcakes or pastries off the counter. From Food to Decor, every corner of this Cafe looked surreal.

As expected, even their Toilet looked magical. I mean – Really? Don’t do this to me! My brain traveled to this “Happy Zone” from the time i entered the cafe because everything was so cheerful & positive. I honestly wanted to make this place my home and just permanently live here. But hey, is that logical? Nope. But is it worth it? Yes, totally! I had to get back to reality because a bunch of people were waiting in the queue for a table and I didn’t want them to wait for an hour like i did.

Overall, if you’re in Bangkok, you must visit the Unicorn Cafe. Don’t expect exceptional food (In terms of taste) but expect very instagram-worthy dishes that will take you to Wonderland.
