Like i have mentioned earlier, i don’t generally attend events. If i do, it’s something i am really excited about. The recent Shoppers Stop event was one of them. Wondering why? Rocky S has partnered with Shoppers Stop to launch his exclusive brand called ‘RS by Rocky Star’. Not only are the clothing & accessories designed by him, it’s for all ages & caters to people with different body types. When i asked Rocky Star, which one of his designs is his favourite? He playfully smiled & said “All of them! I love all of them!”. I wouldn’t deny that either.
Once we went through the products at the Blogger’s preview, i decided to shoot them outdoors. Being a perfectionist, i wanted to capture each and every product under natural sunlight as it should do complete justice to the designs. I picked some of my favourite accessories from the collection & escaped to the swimming pool at JW Marriott in Juhu. The wind made the shoot even more fun! Some of my favourite pieces from the collection includes the metallic box clutch & the sandals with pearls on them. The clothing collection includes shirt dresses, embellished T-shirts & metallic dresses. The prices are affordable as well! I realized that Rocky Star’s collection for Shoppers stop is for everyone & anyone. His collection includes wardrobe basics & party wear.The clothing & accessories can easily be worn from day to night.

I get a number of emails on how i go about shoots. Hence, i thought of sharing it!
Before attending the event, i did some research on the hotel and the areas where i could shoot. Prior to shoots, I create a Mood board & make a list of what exactly i want & send it to my photographer. That includes reference images, poses, edits & so on. It’s very important to keep the concept in mind before proceeding with the shoot. After exchanging a number of emails/texts, we decide on the final look. At the location, i direct the photographer accordingly. We have worked on a number of fun projects recently & i can’t wait to show it to you guys!
