Few years back, before Facebook, Instagram & other social media apps took over my phone, i used to enjoy the moment before posting about it. The pressure to keep the world updated about what’s happening in your life makes you wonder whether you live in the present. From posting about your wedding ring just after he popped the question to sharing the beautiful view of the sunset from your room, we fail to appreciate the moment. I am one of the victims of social media & i wouldn’t deny that i do the same. However, as much as i love posting about my day to day life, i realised that i should take a few minutes to enjoy the occasion before clicking a photo of it. Memories are worth it. Photos help to capture pleasant memories but nothing like experiencing it first hand.
