I recently visited the Tarun Tahiliani Couture Expo held at The Four seasons Hotel with LoveGold. The minute we entered the place, it felt like we were at a Royal Indian wedding. The dresses & gold jewellery were displayed elegantly across the room. The jewellery had a modern edge to it while still retaining the conventional Indian design. The Tarun Tahiliani for Azva jewellery was focused on catering to young Indian brides. The jewellery paired with the magnificent lehengas just took the entire concept of fashion at Indian weddings to a whole new level.

While the jewellery had intricate details, it wouldn’t weigh you down on one of the most important days of your life. Each piece was different to suit every modern Indian bride’s personality while still sticking to the traditional roots. I tried a gold choker necklace by Azva which surprisingly looked good with a plain white shirt. I also couldn’t take my hands off the alluring bracelet that I found while going through the collection. That’s the beauty of gold jewellery which can be worn both with traditional & modern attire.
