Recently, i was going through my shoe wardrobe & thought about doing an article on it. As many of us get confused about what to buy when going shoe shopping, here’s a little about what i do for the same. This is just a little about my personal experience with shoes. So, grab a cup of coffee & read through!

– Usually when shopping for shoes i make sure that i know my size in advance. For example, at Forever21 i go for a EUR39 and i go for a EUR40 at Zara. During sale time, trying on each and every piece of clothing/shoes is practically impossible. Women have no patience! However, if you’re aware of your shoe size and the type of shoe that fits you well, it gets easier. In my case, when i look at a shoe, i know whether it will be comfortable without trying it out. Magic? Psychic powers? No! It’s plain experience.

– When you pick vamp heels or stilettos & if you have a wider foot, make sure you have enough support in the front or the heels are chunky. I have had painful experiences with shoes that were too small or too big.

– Gladiator heels are such a blessing. Do you know those times when we slip out of our shoes while walking fast? Embarrassing? Don’t worry, i have been there too!

Gladiator heels are a amazing for clumsy women because they hold your foot together and you don’t have to worry about anything. Even if you want to get rid of them, it takes quite a long time to take them off. Talk about clingy shoes!

– I never realized that i would stick to a brand when it comes to shoes until today. As soon as Forever21 launched in Mumbai, i was quickly drawn to their footwear section. Not only were they affordable but the quality was quite similar to Zara and for half the price. Talk about a good deal!

 – You have no idea how nude flats & heels can elongate your legs. Black flats might make your legs look stubby. However, Nude flats make a huge difference. Little things matter, don’t they!

– I picked up a couple of shoes from Forever21 recently. Chunky heeled sandals for around Rs.1100 (Seen HERE) & gladiator flats for Rs.700 (Go grab em, girls!). Zara SALE was a huge disappointment. It’s literally a war zone! I was holding a dress and a girl casually slipped it off my hands like i was offering it to her. Also, the clothing and shoes are generally all over the floor & people just walk over it, like it’s nothing! Thank you, Zara SALE for all the life-changing experiences.

Hope this article gave you some insight about my shoe shopping experiences.
