Who doesn’t like a quick bite of a little something sweet? I have always been a big fan of cupcakes & macarons. While macarons weren’t easily available in India a few years ago, thanks to some bakeries that have revolutionized the way we look at desserts in India.

Love, Sugar & Dough (LSD)
The name says it all! Their red-velvet cupcakes are heavenly & the amount of creativity that goes into customized orders is beyond words. Every bite is worth it.

Not Just desserts by Sabina
I am definitely partial towards this one as i am all for independent women entrepreneurs! Started in Wadala inside a residential complex, this little bakery isn’t little anymore. They are a pro at making delicious apple pies & cupcakes. I have never missed indulging in sweets from NJDS during festivities. The apple pies have been staple during Diwali & Christmas.
Oh & the dessert jars take it to a whole new level!

Le15 patisserie
Le15’s macarons are my favourite & their packaging makes it worth it ( I am all for pastels!)

Guilt trip
Good old guilt trip stays true to it’s name! Cupcakes, it’s all about delicious cupcakes here. The drool-worthy baked cheesecake is worth a mention as well!

La Folie
Say hello to the new kid on the block! La Folie is what happens when art meets desserts. This is one of my recent discoveries & i do not regret visiting the quaint bakery. Located right opposite Kala Ghoda cafe, La Folie makes gourmet desserts more accessible. Though the bakery can accommodate not more than 10 people, the luxurious dessert makes up for it.
