Oats have always been a good-girl’s breakfast! Bad girls take them to the bathroom. Not to flush (you evil minds!), but to indulge in an Oat Spa. If you can’t swallow the goodness of oats to begin your day let your skin slurp the same instead. Remember how gooey homemade hair masks (say, soaked fenugreek seeds + yogurt paste) gifted you the shiniest soft hair, kicking off the priciest hair masks available?  This yummy oats will do the same, giving you a righteous soft skin! Colloidal oats can decrease itching, quench dry patches, soothe irritation, reduce redness, and soothe a rash.

Before you secretly glide steaming bowl of oats to your room soon as your mommy places it on the breakfast table for you. Be clear, It is said that when it is about using oats for the skin care purpose the other variant of oats called ‘colloidal oats’ works the best. Good news: we can easily make them at home. Grind some of your dry breakfast oats in food processor until it becomes a smooth powder.  Pick your kind to exploit from below:

 OATS

Oatmeal Bath:

Reach out for a giant bucket full of hot water to add 1/2 a cup of colloidal oatmeal. Soak-rinse-dry trio will take your almost perfect complexion many steps forward. Oat-soak in a bath tub is also an option, but who likes to have that mess which involves a stamina cleaning! A secret fiasco: if we thump our head somewhere because of the quite slippery surface.

Oatmeal Scrub:

1tb sp of Colloidal oats + 1tb sp of breakfast oats + 1tb sp of honey + warm water to make a thick paste. Gently exfoliate your skin to get rid of those dead cells blocking your natural radiance. The goodness of honey (natural bleaching agent) is not to neglect!

OATS-USES

Oatmeal Face Mask:

To avoid skin break-out, it’s smart to follow a facial scrub with the right facial mask to lock your scrubbed skin pores. 1tb sp of colloidal oats mixed in warm water gets you a brand new natural homemade mask to follow it after any scrub of your choice. Let it dry for 15 minutes and rinse with warm water. It has no chemicals-no strong agents to irritate your skin any further.

If kitchen is not your area to grind and get some colloidal oats. They are easily available in the market. Either way you start your Oatmeal Affair, don’t forget to smooth your favourite lotion on slightly damp skin to store in the hydration for long time.
