If you follow me on Instagram, you might be aware that i was in Thailand for 12 days. We rented an apartment and lived like the locals. The last time i visited Bangkok, i fell in love and wanted to re-visit this place. The hustle & bustle, street food, hot pink taxis & charming people are some of the reasons why i fell in love with this country. More details coming up in the next article.
Bangkok is a shopper’s paradise & there’s no doubt that i did exceed my shopping limit this time. We visited the good old Platinum fashion mall, Pratunam market, MBK , Siam centre & so on.
1. Platinum Mall
If you visit Platinum mall, you will come across small stores/kiosks that sell makeup & skin care products. Though i wouldn’t trust the authenticity of the products , they had cute nail paints & lip glosses. Purchased a couple of them just for the packaging. The nail paints looked like ice cream cones while the lip glosses looked like a little bunnies. Was i in heaven?
There is a new trend in Bangkok called ” Snail whitening”. Snail face packs, snail creams, snail masks are a rage! Would you try it out?
2. Siam Square & Siam center
Siam center & Siam square is where the party is on! There are little stores/kiosks selling kitschy things and then there are 2 major makeup stores : Etude house & Eveandboy . I purchased a pretty pink lipstick from Etude house which i wore HERE
3. Sephora, Siam Center
These is a huge Sephora at Siam center. Though i walked by sephora a number of times, i didn’t have the heart to shop as i had reserved it for splurging on clothes!
4. Boots & Walgreens
I bumped into these unique foaming hair colours at boots.
5. Central Chidlom
Benefit cosmetics, Shu uemera, Urban decay, illamasqua, you name it & you get it here!
