This wonder ingredient can be found in any kitchen in India. It has long been hailed for its importance in digestion but also for its benefits for skin and hair. It cools and soothes your body on the inside and outside. Cheaply and easily available, curd is a boon for your health!

  1. Curd mixed with besan (chickpea flour) is an excellent exfoliant and gives a glow to your skin. Mix these two ingredients, apply on skin and leave till dry. Wash off with water for radiant skin.
  2. Need a moisture boost for your skin? Apply curd on your skin and wash it off with water once it dries.

  4. Another way to show your skin some love is to mix honey and curd and apply. Moisturised and glowing skin will be the result.
  5. Curd is also an excellent conditioner. Apply curd to your hair, from scalp till root, half an hour before washing your hair. Witness its wonders after washing it off. You’ll rethink expensive conditioners and masks after this.
  6. Say bye-bye to dandruff to with curd. Applying sour curd to your scalp helps fight those pesky white flakes. Clean AND soft scalp? Yes please!
