The weather was so gloomy when these photos were clicked .As there was little light , it was difficult to capture the photos. The skirt i am wearing here is a chameleon! One time i look at it , it’s a bright peach coloured skirt & the other time it’s a neon orange . It’s somewhere between a peach & a neon colour.

About the outfit

– “Neon peach ”  is a beautiful colour. Not too “In your face” but does make a mark.People who are skeptical to try neon or if you think it’s too much for you, you can try similar colours.
-The white shirt looks creased but it isn’t. That’s the way it is.I love the neckline of the shirt.
-As the skirt already makes a statement, adding a bright neckpiece would be too much . So i added a statement necklace but kept it subtle by choosing white.
-As i had mentioned in my previous posts, these platforms from Asos.com & are not comfortable at all.But i do tend to wear it for a few hours because i have spent my hard earned money on them (Haha!) . What to do? . “No Pain, No gain” (Cheesy quote , i know!)
How to style Maxi skirts?
-Maxi skirts are meant to be long. Your feet will hardly be visible, so you do not want to look like you’re gliding right? (Casper!) It’s best to wear heels with maxi skirts. If you’re like me who loves wearing wedges , go for it!
-Added a Tan belt just to keep the skirt in place.
– Flats might work with maxi skirts but there are always some exceptions.Make sure you wear shoes that do not cover your ankle as it will make you look shorter .
-If you have a wider waistline, wear a blazer / jacket over a tank top with the maxi skirt. Now i know it’s summer and wearing a blazer is nearly impossible but try to find jackets/blazers without the inner lining.
-Cardigans might work with maxi skirts but it depends on the fabric. If it’s pure cotton it might stick to your body and the skirt. This will give you an undesirable shape. So i steer away from cardigans and prefer wearing something more crisp (like jackets) on maxi skirts.
-Sandals look great with maxi skirts that are not too long.In my case, the length of the maxi skirt is not suitable for sandals. But if your skirt is  mid-length or is just below your knee, you can always pair it with sandals.
