I had tweeted recently about how i felt that i was the only blogger who hasn’t done a pastel OOTD yet. (Peer) Pressure much? As i always mention it on the blog, i do not do outfit posts that are completely based on current trends (Quite a rebel huh?) . I keep my style as the base and play around with the trends. One of the most important trend this spring/summer 2012 is Neon.Neons aren’t new ,they have been around for a long time.I am not a big fan of it as i prefer subtle colours. But this time i decided to go a step higher by experimenting with brighter colours.(Fingers crossed!)
About the outfit:
If you’re a person who doesn’t like neons and would like to experiment with brighter colours,a similar lime green shade might work for you.
Florals aren’t “Grandma-esque” if you know to style them well.
As the blazer itself adds a lot of colour to the outfit,it’s important to keep the rest of the outfit simple.Hence i paired it with a dull floral dress.
If you feel a dress is a little too short or are attending an event where you might feel uncomfortable or inappropriate to wear something above the knee , wear opaque stockings.
If there’s a lot going on in your outfit,it’s important to wear minimal jewellery.

A big Thank you to Vishal for clicking my outfit pictures for so long.I honestly don’t know how i would have managed to click my OOTD pictures without him (Would be weird clicking it on my own no?).Vishal’s a great photographer ,he just doesn’t know/accept that.

I thought of having a “Trademark” ending to my posts like “Until next time *wink*” or ” bisou bisou”or “xoxoxox “

Never mind bye.
