So quite a lot of people asked me about my hair and what i do to it ,hence i decided to do a post on it.All you girls, including me, pile up on products. We purchase products that are unnecessary. Look at the number of products i have.Out of all these products i just use a few of them on a daily basis. So now when i go to the store,i make sure i don’t purchase items  that i wont use. I think twice before i purchase anything. We can save up on a lot of money if we stop purchasing such unwanted items no?
Okay back to the “HAIRY” post,
I use Herbal essences Shampoo and conditioner .[Break’s over or Hello Hydration]
-This shampoo and conditioner smells great and has always kept my curls in place. They also have a special line for curly hair, but i find this one better. There are a lot of fakes around,so be careful.I always purchase the ones that say”Made in USA” but recently i wasn’t able to find them.So i bought the other one which said “Made in Singapore”.Make sure  you purchase the correct one from a good store.
Earlier, after washing my hair,i used to use the “John frieda –Frizz ease “ for curls .But as i love experimenting and as i have run out of that product,i bought the “FX wild harvest hair, curl booster” which works equally well.[Make sure your hair is 80% dry before you apply your leave in-conditioner ]
-Not many of us have heard about “FX” products but these products are amazing.Although they aren’t that well known, they do a great job.
Sometimes i also use the “Parachute coconut oil”15- 30 mins before washing my hair , as i do not have the patience to wait for an hour or more.It really makes a difference.
So how do i style my hair?
I let my hair dry naturally. But the front part of the hair is something that frames your face and hence it plays a very important role.I use the “Phillips salon dry” to blow dry and style my fringe.I use a paddle brush and a small round brush to style it.I always…ALWAYS…dry my fringe in the opposite direction first with a paddle brush, then dry it back in the same direction [the side where you want your fringe to be] and then take the round brush and curve it a bit in the same direction. The opposite direction trick works,as it gives your fringe a lot of volume and doesn’t make it lie flat. Then i use my Revlon or Leonardo hair straightener and straighten it in the opposite direction first and then in the same direction and curve it.If your hair’s too thick, you can part your fringe with clips and do the same thing.
If your fringe doesn’t stay straight for long  due to the humidity, set it with a hairspray.I don’t do it often but if i do , i mostly use the Loreal Elnett hairspray or Schwarzkopf Taft hairspray .
I some times, not often, but sometimes use the Velcro rollers to get some volume. But it’s boring to use it haha!
The other sidekicks:
Bedhead TIGI HEADRUSH:I don’t use this often, just when i think that my hair needs some shine boost.
Coconut milk split end mender:I bought it recently, so cannot really tell you how it is.I do not have split ends, but i bought it as i liked the fragrance.
John frieda frizz ease :Heat defeat:I use it as a heat protectant when i straighten my hair.
Okay so this is what i do to my hair!.If you have any good tips or know of any amazing products, do share it below 🙂
